The Artistic Dance Conservatory Tuition Assistance Program is in the beginning stages of organization and fundraising.  We anticipate the inception of the program to be in the September 2009 - June 2010 school year.

 

 

For over five years, ADC has served the community in many ways but did so as a for-profit business.  That being said, the primary goal of a for-profit business is to make a profit.  However, this has always been in conflict with our mission to provide for the community.  As a result, we have decided to organize as a non-profit corporation.  A main part of our goal is to be able to raise funds to enroll willing students who otherwise could not afford a dance education.  Over the past five years, we have seen interest in dance education from hundreds of students that never enrolled because of financial reasons.  Since our primary function is dance education, it is only natural for us to take steps nessasary to establish a formal needs-based assistance program to aid students and their families who can demonstrate a need for assisatnce.  During the first quarter of 2009, the board of directors will form the Tuition Assistance Program Committee and finalize the program parameters.  The program start date is subject to change and subject to other restrictions due to the results of fundraising efforts.
