Intermediate Levels
Level II A/B, Level III A/B, Level IIIB, Level IIA (classes in Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical, Tap, Beginner/Intermediate Acrobatics, Street Jazz and Hip Hop)
These 45min to hour-long classes take dance to a new level. While reviewing beginning exercises, students also have the opportunity to learn new, more advanced dance techniques. Dancers are encouraged to increase their versatility by exploring new dance styles. Most recently, ADC has expanded its course offerings for our intermediate students to include Street Jazz and Contemporary Lyrical classes. Street Jazz is a fusion of classical jazz and hip hop styles which makes for a fun and funky new movement! Contemporary Lyrical explores the grace and fluidity of ballet while also incorporating jazz technique. Our dancers have enjoyed taking part in these new classes, classes you won't find at every studio!
All classes review beginning dance skills and challenge students to increase their flexibility, strength, and artistry. Our Acrobatics students are encouraged to explore a variety of contortion, control and fundamental tumbling skills while also improving their dance technique and movement vocabulary. Students continue to learn with more intricate barre work, center floor exercises, and choreography. Our instructors develop well-rounded, proficient dancers while teaching teamwork, the rewards of hard work, and instilling confidence, poise, and dance knowledge!
